St. Albert Transit Center & Park and Ride Facility

AMAN completed the new transit center and park and ride facility in St. Albert adjoining Campbell Road.

The scope included construction of 464 asphalt parking stalls adjacent to the bus loop, area for passenger drop off and Taxi/Uber, concrete medians placed around and in the middle of the parking lot, a 317 stall gravel parking lot, 16 bus bays around main concrete island and landscaping and lighting throughout. The underground utilities scope included extension of waterline from the property line, installation of sanitary sewer pipeline and storage tank, installation of catch basins and watermains, installation of electrical conduits and transformer, extension of coaxial cable connection and construction of a 6,600 m3 volume stormwater collection pond. The scope also included improvements to Campbell Road including signalization of the north access and the south access, construction of a dedicated northbound left turn lane and a dedicated southbound right turn deceleration lane and connections to the existing sidewalk along Campbell Road.
