The replacement of the Grande Prairie Composite High School is the single largest high school north of Edmonton.
Slated to host 1600 students, the 9-12 high school contains large amounts of natural lighting, a black box theater with vertically folding walls, an oversized gymnasium with 8 basketball courts, and instructional spaces for senior trades. The school partially sources some of its energy requirements through the installation of solar panels. The project was completed three months ahead of schedule in spite of the restrictions posed by the pandemic and supply chain challenges.
